Grants for IBIS Members
8 October 2008
IBIS announces a competition for: (1) travel grants up to $10,000; and (2) startup grants up to $100,000.
The purpose of these grants is to stimulate efforts in the establishments of broadly based multidisciplinary research programs between the participating institutions. For consideration, each proposal must name a PI from one participating institution and Co-PI(s) from one or both other participating institutions. All investigators should be members of IBIS. Proposals should indicate the ways in which each of them will be involved in the collaboration.
Successful projects should establish effective collaborations that extend beyond the life of the initial grants. Program Project planning grants ($250,000 or more) will be available via IBIS in 2008 for teams that have demonstrated the most progress.
