Biological sample storage and preparation, Landes Lab - UH Dedicated -80 °C freezer with emergency power backup is dedicated for protein storage. Molecular biology grade solvents, buffers, and containers are used to maintain sample integrity, and all single molecule samples are prepared in the single-molecule lab, free from other inorganic/biological contaminants. This is crucial for single-molecule detection efficiency.
