Call for Travel Grant Proposals
In order to stimulate collaborative research IBIS is announcing a competition for ten travel grants (up to $2,500), awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Acceptance or rejection decisions will usually be rendered within 7 days of submission.
The purpose of these grants is to stimulate efforts in the establishments of broadly based multidisciplinary research programs between the participating institutions. Grant applications will be evaluated for scientific, technical merit and the relevance of the project to the interests and mission of IBIS. Decisions will be made (typically within 7 days of receipt) on a first-come first-served basis.
Note for applicants from The Methodist Hospital: To receive support, the applicant must be a member of The Methodist Hospital Research Institute, or have an application for membership in process.
A one page proposal with information on the planned research topic(s), the major investigators and the NIH style biosketches of the major investigators and a brief budget (up to $2,500) should be submitted.
